Education Software List
What this list IS
This list is a comprehensive list of the most useful applications for everyday computing with a particular emphasis on education oriented applications for schools and classrooms. We'll attempt to keep this list updated with each new update or release. You, the members of the community, should feel free to help in keeping this list updated. If you feel an application has been left off and is worthy of listing...please add it.
What this list is NOT
This list is NOT intended to list every single application that might be used in a linux distribution. There are literally thousands of little programs available on the image, most of which, are not used by the average user at any time. Listing all these applications would only server to confuse everyone and inflate the true usefulness of Open 1to1 beyond the already extensive list of software already available on the Open 1to1 image.
